Color For A Kid Benefitting Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption®

Coloring is good for the mind, body, and soul. (Seriously, even CNN says it's true.)

Last year, we started handing out coloring pages and pencils at conferences, knowing that sometimes social workers just need a bit of a distraction to help them recharge and refocus. The coloring pages were so popular that we found ourselves running out at almost every event, which got us thinking ... What if we could use this simple activity to benefit workers and kids at the same time?

Color For A Kid!

In September, we began inviting social workers to raise money for kids through our inaugural #ColorForAKid fundraiser. It's simple: for every completed coloring page, the Northwoods Foundation will donate $5 to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption®. Here's how it works:

  1. Take a photo of your completed coloring page.
  2. Like Northwoods on Facebook (TheTeamNorthwoods) and upload your photo.
  3. Tag @TheTeamNorthwoods and use the hashtag #ColorForAKid.

Want to get involved? Download one of the images below to get started, or visit our website to sign up for more information. (Even if you don't want to share your artwork on Facebook, feel free to download the pages for when you need some creative stress relief.)

Happy coloring!
